Hand Felted Ornaments

A hand-felted twist on classic tree decor.

These ornaments are a clever combination of needle felting and wet felting. Their solid wool core is made of wool scraps of all sorts, so these ornaments are a great reuse project.

We’ll be working with the beautiful wool roving from Harrisville Designs, a heritage mill in New Hampshire. Their fleece is “dyed in the wool”, meaning it has flecks of many different colors carded together. The fiber makes a sophisticated, heirloom-quality felt.

Class will allow time for you to make 2 - 3 ornaments.
