Make yourself a pair of toasty warm hand felted slippers!
In this wet felting class we’ll start by making a pattern with a plastic resist. You’ll learn how to calculate for shrinkage to make a pair of slippers that really fits. Then you’ll learn how to lay out the fiber in strategic layers and felt it into fabric using hot water and soap. Finally we’ll full (shrink) the slippers down to size and block them for a professional finish.
Students will come away with one completed pair of slippers and the know-how to make more for any sized foot.
All the materials for your in-class slippers are included in the class price. You have the option to buy fiber at the end of class if you want to make more.
The "handout" for this class is my step-by-step video that shows making the slippers from start to finish. Make slippers at home successfully after class; the video will remind you of all the steps.
