These felted ornaments are a hand-felted twist on the classic tree decor. We'll make them using a combination of needle felting and wet felting. Their solid wool core is made of wool scraps of all sorts, so these ornaments are a great reuse project.

We’ll be working with the beautiful wool roving from Harrisville Designs, a heritage mill in New Hampshire. Their fleece is “dyed in the wool”, meaning it has flecks of many different colors carded together. The fiber makes a sophisticated, heirloom-quality felt.

Class will allow time for you to make 2 - 3 ornaments. This workshop includes some needle felting, so is best for ages 10 and up. Exceptions can be made for exceptional kids accompanied by an adult.
