Learn the basics of needle felting by making a fuzzy kitty!
Needle felting is a fun and addictive craft. By poking a specially barbed needle into colored wool, you can sculpt anything you can imagine. Artist LeBrie Rich will teach you about the tools and techniques for sculpting wool with a felting needle. In this class you'll make a clever little kitty with thread for whiskers. With an optional pinback, this kitty becomes a brooch! This is a great project for beginners that will teach you the basics of needle felting. After the class you will be equipped with the skills to needle felt all kinds of animals and other small sculptures.
Ages 10 and up welcome.
The class fee of $39 includes all the materials you will need, AND you get to keep your felting needle at the end of class.
